I need to tell you a story.
There’s a kingdom, full with tea tree, and everyone in that city love to drink tea. A lot.
But, with whatever reason, only the governor can take the tea for sell and only tea maker he chosen can do that.
No one can sell tea for drink.
If someone needs governor’s tea to increase more sale in their business, they need to give golden coin to the governor, then they’ll got the tea.
But, one day, the governor got an idea.
“Why do I need to make tea with myself?”
“I can let citizen make tea by themselves, sell it for their money. I just need to take some fee for each cup of tea they sell.” (Quite cool, huh?)
Then, the governor announced his idea.
Now for people who were waiting for sell their own tea, celebrates, then start to make tea and settle their tea shop.
Ok, at this point, I want to call them “Tea Maker”.
May be all Tea Makers knows all citizen on the kingdom love to drink tea. So they thought their tea’d be bought for sure. Because in the time that governor sold his tea. Everyone also bought them all.
But it doesn’t like to happen.
Some tea makers sell earlier, then people go to drink them.
Some tea makers sell late, but people still go to drink them.
Some tea makers did very good tea, but just few people get into their shop.
Some tea maker just started, and curious how can they make people drink their tea.
Because all tea is same!
This is a truth in world of business. It doesn’t matter you are selling tea, or LINE Sticker. Whenever it make a good profit, there’re someone going to do the same business like you. Whatever, we called it ‘growing market’.
When something makes good profit, somebody need to sell it too.
You may know it in the name of “Red Ocean”, the market that everyone are filling into same place, sell similar things, and someone is doing great, someone is doing bad, and someone doesn’t know how good they’re doing!
What I can tell you now, LINE Sticker’s ocean is going red.
But I am not telling you to shutdown you dream about living with LINE Sticker!
I want to tell you, that in every ocean, there are several powerful fountain (One Piece Fan, please remind ‘Enel’ and his island).
These fountain can stream you up to the sky, and yes, you may fall back to the ocean again.
But If you keep bring yourself to these fountain repeatedly.
It may take you to the kingdom of the sky.
